How do you get from here to there?
Are your bridges sturdy, patchwork, washed out?
What do you do when the roof caves in?
Or when it looks like it might?
When you have to blast your own entry or exit?
When the road ahead is rocky?
When you can’t see what’s around the next bend?
Here’s the thing: it’s all beautiful.
Even – maybe especially – the mess.
I give you a knowing chuckle.

I was thinking of bridges today. Bridges between states of mind, bridges between memories and now. How to build bridges so transitions are easier.

Great collection of photos, Tessa. I love the one with the protruding nails, especially. A few remind me of nightmares I had a LONG time ago.
Where in CO were the photos taken?

Near Idaho Springs. The bridges are along a trail and the rest are at an old mine.
